Archie Brown is the owner of Crossfit IV and a seasoned personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. When he’s not coaching others on making gains in the gym, the avid sports enthusiast and thrill seeker loves pounding the basketball court, kicking up powder on a snowboard, and proving he’s got what it takes to be a Tough Mudder. By achieving his CrossFit Level 1 training, Archie obtained the ability to tap into CrossFit’s core mission–to forge a broad, yet inclusive, fitness that prepares a person for the known and the unknown. Archie strives to help individuals achieve a performance advantage with community-based fitness regimes derived from the CrossFit method. CrossFit requires physical willpower and mental perseverance, and Archie hopes to teach his pupils that CrossFit is not just a workout; it’s a way of life.
CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies, and tactical operation units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. - Content Courtesy of CrossFit, Inc. Here at CrossFit IV, we believe that CrossFit is not just a workout, but instead a way of life. We use the CrossFit method as a guide, ”constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement”, when programming the workout of the day (WOD). Every WOD will use the basic principals of functional moments to adhere to the CrossFit method. Ultimately CrossFit is a sport using a competitive aspect, teamwork, and camaraderie, to help push you further in your workout. This program is for everyone whether you’re an athlete looking for physical dominance or of the older population looking for physical competence, CrossFit IV is for you.
